SOL® System prosthetic accessoriesce

Description

The SOL ® system prosthetic accessories are suitable to simplify the procedures for the taking of a dental impression in terms of time useful to the dentist, dental technicians and patients, ensuring maximum accuracy. They are designed and manufactured to be placed on different types of endosteal diameters, lengths and implant platforms. The SOL ® system has a component designed to be composed according to the needs of the individual case.

Materials

All materials used are of high quality and conform to international standards. All materials used guarantee a high degree of biocompatibility. The transfer and prosthetic devices and fixing screw are made of grade 5 titanium alloy Ti6Al4V biocompatible material according to the international reference standard ISO 5832-3. The accessories for the detection of the intermaxillary ratio are to be considered for temporary use and are made ??of PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate). The prosthetic components are sold in non-sterile packaging. Each device is easily washable thanks to the possibility of mount and unmount themself. However, we recommend opening the package in an aseptic environment and possibly above worktops and surfaces disinfected or sterile.

Guide lines

The SOL ® system prosthetic accessories are applicable over the implant system of leading manufacturers. The catalog and the label on the packaging indicates the references for a clear identification of the related implant or the system component. Make sure before use that the device is dedicated to exactly version of the implant system used. The SODIM srl provides devices studied in detail and recommends to apply them only to the specific type of system. Connections are apparently similar, in fact may create inadequate one. The SODIM srl relies on careful analysis of the design and careful quality control and recommends the references listed on the product label to avoid failures during impression taking and subsequent prosthesis. Such as tightening screws of the assembled components, it is recommended to use only the VT-SOL screws, as designed and implemented to ensure compatibility with the system to which they refer and all the accessories of the SOL® system.

Contraindications

The use of SOL ® prosthetic components made ??of titanium has no special effects. We always recommend first checking with visual and manual control of the sealing coupling of transfer devices. We recall, however, some drawbacks typically provided such as:

You can also find allergy cases to the materials used, titanium and PMMA. (used for CAP-SOL, OC-MED, OC- VAR and APPL-SOL). Do not recommend the use of SOL ® prosthetic components in uncooperative patients, abusing drugs and alcohol or who have a situation of poor oral hygiene.

Instructions and directions for use

Prior to insertion into the mouth, the conventional transfers must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Having to dispose of components after use, in conventional ways, it is necessary to carry out the cleaning and re-sterilization. The SOL ® prosthetic accessories CAP-SOL, OC-SOL, OC-MED, OC-VAR are disposable; this reduces the risk of deformations or potential mechanical damage; their re-use is considered improper and may compromise rehabilitation work. The metal accessories LINK-SOL, VT-SOL and TR-SOL are reusable up to 20 impression uses; in any case, these should always be checked before each reuse with a manual test seal mating and evaluating any marks, scratches or warping. The prosthetic components LINK-SOL, VT-SOL and TR-SOL should be cleaned, sanitized and sterilized before use; TGDM-SOLhealing caps and MP-SOL temporary pre-assembled abutments, applied on site after taking impression, must also be cleaned, sanitized and sterilized before use; as provisional prosthetic components can not be reused.
For this reason, these prosthetic accessories are identified as disposable in the product label.

Deadline

There are no special storage conditions, although it is always preferable to store in a cool, dry place and do not expose the product to direct heat or sunlight.

Important product informations

After threading the screw, engage theL-SOL transducer with the geometry of the implant system and, having it fitted for reasons of convenience and safety on the accessory APPL-SOL tighten the screw manually or with the use of a torque wrench up to 15 N * cm. In any case must not be never exceeded the directions of the manufacturer of the system itself. Apply the TR-SOLon the transducer ensuring a good connection with the aid of a manual pressure or orthodontic bands push, choosing the position through the most appropriate degree of rotation. Alternatively, the kit L-SOL + VT-SOL + TR-SOL (transducer LINK - screw VT-SOL - coping TR-SOL) can be pre-assembled prior to the application on the implant. In both cases must be used only for screwing the dedicated screwdriver. Apply to the transfer the CAP-SOL coping, enhancing grip to the impression. After having use them for impression taking, the assembled components can be disassembled manually, using cotton gloves or nitrile or the specific universal accessory TB-SOL to facilitate washing and sterilization necessary before the components LINK, VT e TR and TR can be reused. The components OC-SOL, OC-MED and OC-VAR are used to control the intermaxillary ratio. OC-SOL is constituted by a complementary cap with respect to the SOL ® coping and by a plate with holes adapted to receive OC-MED (upward horizontal) or OC-VAR (upward inclining). The kit must work together to ensure a distance/space ratio against the opposite jaw’s teeth of about 1.5-2mm. This space allows the compensation with silicon material or others that are not subject to dimensional changes. The OC-SOL component must be chosen between the two versions available and always applied and removed vertically. Once inserted into the device TR-SOL, should never be forced to correct the orientation. CAP-SOL, OC-SOL, OC-MED and OC-VAR should be considered only single-use devices. LINK-SOL, VT-SOL and TR-SOL must be unscrewed and gently removed from the oral cavity, coupled with the company's original analog, placed into the impression and then sended to the laboratory. . There are available alsoTGDM shaped healing plug, and the MP-SOLdevice to be used as a healing abutment and temporary abutment for fixing intraoral prosthesis if you do not choose the original accessories supplied to the implant system. The provisional prosthetic components TGDM and MP-SOL can not be reused. The re-use involves the possible risk of cross-infection and loss of function. The devices of SODIM srl are intended for the exclusive use of qualified professionals and the company assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from improper use.

Cleaning and sterilization of the product

The processes of cleaning and sterilization are intended to safeguard the health of patients and staff working in the studio.

Cleaning

Can be done manually with warm water and a mild detergent suitable non-corrosive, using brushes made of plastic or nylon (never use metal brushes) to remove any residual machining.

Special warnings

To ensure good adhesion of the caps CAP-SOL impression material to spread more adhesive on them before taking the impression. If in the absence of the adhesive copings were to remain on the transfer / abutment impression instead, clear the hole of the component with a round bur pressed with a finger holding the cap, unscrew the whole thing and continue the process. Never use pliers or other tools. The tolerances of the components of the systematic SOL ® are controlled in a refined manner. By unscrewing the assembly SOL, the same can not be separated from the plant, look for the problem in the relationship between the parties prosthetic and anatomical structures (bone). In the 'decoupling operation of metal components for cleaning and sterilization, use the special tool universal TB-SOL or help with the fabric. Never use tools that might damage the quality of the devices. The operation of manual washing is effective if carried out with the utmost care. Cleaning can also be done in ultrasonic tanks faster and safer totally immersing the devices in the washing liquid and following the time recommended by the manufacturer. Replace the wash solution at intervals recommended by the manufacturer. II after ultrasonic treatment rinse thoroughly to remove the wash solution. Shortly after rinsing II, prior to sterilization, inspect and dry.

Sterilization

Recall that sterilization does not replace cleaning. Sterilization is a process to eliminate microorganisms and should be undertaken with the utmost care after cleaning. The methods of sterilization most common and effective, are the following:

Always follow, however, the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the equipment.

Disposal

Before disposing of it through the conventional ways about used or infected devices, it should be cleaned and sterilized.
